As the nation’s largest forest products association, the Hardwood Federation works hard to meet the ever-increasing demands placed on our industry by lawmakers. Our industry continually faces a number of legislative proposals that have a significant impact on how we will operate on a day-to-day basis. Some may pose a detrimental effect on how we operate as an industry. Others can expand opportunities to provide better products for our customers.
Ensuring that our perspective and expertise are considered when laws and regulations affecting every segment of our industry are crafted requires a strong network of politically interested members. That is why the hardwood industry’s need for the Hardwood Federation Political Action Committee (HFPAC) has never been greater. The HFPAC offers a direct means to participate in shaping sound public policy and voicing views on issues related to your business. The HFPAC also maximizes our ability as an industry to educate lawmakers in Washington on workable solutions to the problems we face everyday.
There is so much at stake. Guaranteeing that hardwood forest policies are enacted to help this industry is crucial.
